Jewellery for Christmas

I've been busy with jewellery making for Christmas, some for presents and some for Christmas presents. It's a great way to get a little extra income and of course to give a unique present to friends or relations. The list of exhibitors is still on the website and is a great resource of all your jewellery making needs, I've been ordering on line for all the bits and pieces to complete my projects. Bead Fair May 2011

Well plans are already well under way, we have lots of our regulars rebooking and several new exhibitors that we are really excited about. It's always nice to have the continuity of familiar suppliers but it is also refreshing to see new faces and of course new ideas.

We hope to be adding in a few new features to the fair next year to keep things new and fresh so remember to come along and be inspired!!!

Edinburgh Bead Fair 8th May 2011

Well things are already getting set of the the next bead fair on the 8th of May 2011. We have lots of our exhibitors returning and some new ones so the range available just keeps getting better. Well what a busy day, thank you so much to all the people involved. I've had great feedback, it appears that you all loved the size of the venue, so much space to move about!!

The selection of beads was just amazing so much colour and sparkle

One day to go.......

I can't wait, I'm so excited about seeing all the wonderful beads and findings and watching the inspiring demonstrations. I've been doing a little bit of needle felting recently so I'm looking forward to seeing how it should be done!! I've never made a tiara so the demonstration by Dorothy Wood from her new book will be fascinating. The Precious Metal Clay is still a mystery to me I've been wanting to go to one of Emma's classes at Bluebell Studio for some time so the demonstration by Emma will be a great starting point.

Edinburgh Bead Fair

Two days to go

Well just two days to go. Everything is set now and the classes are booking fast. It even looks like we will get a dry day!!

I've been getting lots of emails about the facilities at the venue so just to make a few point clear
1) Parking is on street or in the car park at the rear of the venue all parking is free
2) Entry is £4 with accompanied under 16's free, payment is cash only
3) Cash machines are available at the Asda right next to the venue.
4) Some sellers can take card payment but please be prepared to pay cash or cheque with guarantee card.
5) Catering facilities are available at the venue for drinks, tea and coffee and light snacks.
6) The show opens at 11am but the cafe area will open at 10.30am.

Getting Ready

Final plans are now completed, all our exhibitors have their stand numbers and we are all set for Sunday. With all this done you would think there would be time to relax, but no it's time to start planning the next show. The good news is that you won't have to wait a whole year, we are having two next year the dates are;
Sunday 8th May
Sunday 25th September
The stands for May are filling fast with many of our exhibitors returning and a few new ones!!

Hope to see you on Sunday 26th September at the Corn Exchange remember the show opens at 11am but you can come along at 10.30am and get your ticket and have a coffee before you start.

Edinburgh Bead Fair

The second Edinburgh Bead Fair takes place this Sunday, 26th September 2010. Once again the event is at the Corn Exchange but this year we are in the larger hall.

We have 42 exhibitors, 4 Demonstrations and 6 new and exciting classes. All the details can be seen on the web site. www.edinburghbeadfair.co.uk.
