Sorry I forgot all about this!!!

When I started my blog I didn't really think about what I was going to do with it. I'm still not sure but I was thinking about putting on some simple projects, bead and jewellery related of course so over the next few days I hope to get started. I'd love to hear your suggestions too.

Jewellery for Christmas

I've been busy with jewellery making for Christmas, some for presents and some for Christmas presents. It's a great way to get a little extra income and of course to give a unique present to friends or relations. The list of exhibitors is still on the website and is a great resource of all your jewellery making needs, I've been ordering on line for all the bits and pieces to complete my projects. I'd love to hear what your making!

Bead Fair May 2011

Well plans are already well under way, we have lots of our regulars rebooking and several new exhibitors that we are really excited about. It's always nice to have the continuity of familiar suppliers but it is also refreshing to see new faces and of course new ideas.

We hope to be adding in a few new features to the fair next year to keep things new and fresh so remember to come along and be inspired!!!

Edinburgh Bead Fair 8th May 2011

Well things are already getting set of the the next bead fair on the 8th of May 2011. We have lots of our exhibitors returning and some new ones so the range available just keeps getting better. Well what a busy day, thank you so much to all the people involved. I've had great feedback, it appears that you all loved the size of the venue, so much space to move about!!

The selection of beads was just amazing so much colour and sparkle

One day to go.......

I can't wait, I'm so excited about seeing all the wonderful beads and findings and watching the inspiring demonstrations. I've been doing a little bit of needle felting recently so I'm looking forward to seeing how it should be done!! I've never made a tiara so the demonstration by Dorothy Wood from her new book will be fascinating. The Precious Metal Clay is still a mystery to me I've been wanting to go to one of Emma's classes at Bluebell Studio for some time so the demonstration by Emma will be a great starting point.
